Tea houses

Tea house in the village of Uch-Dere today is the only one. On the territory of this tourist site is quite extensive exhibition dedicated to traditional Russian crafts.

Back in the late 90-ies of the last century there were several houses but in the 2000 they were dismantled because of the dilapidation. The tea house was built without a single nail in the mid-70s and was used for the same purpose as today – to attract tourists. Tea plantations are located on the slopes of the mountains so the construction of a place where you can taste the “the most northern tea” was a logical move.

Today guests are invited to get acquainted with the technology of making tea and try a Russian tea with a steaming samovar, taste homemade jam and pies accompanied by songs of the folk ensemble.
